I am always, without a doubt, 100% down to travel anywhere you want me to!!! Want me to drive to SLO for your wedding? I’m so there. Want me to fly to the other side of the world? I’m there.
If I’m driving to you, I charge based on how far I'm driving to cover cost of gas and time. If I’m flying to you, travel fees will include a roundtrip flight, 3 nights for a hotel/AirBnb (five nights if we’re going international!), and a car rental. I book all this myself and add it to your invoice so you don’t have to worry about doing anything extra before your wedding.
For engagements and other portrait sessions, I deliver a minimum of 60 high resolution edited, jpeg files. For an 8 hour wedding, I will deliver no less than 600. Every shoot and wedding is different, so there's no way for me to tell you the maximum number of files you’ll get. I pinky promise you’ll get allllll the good ones (and some funny ones too of course)!
For engagements and other portrait sessions, my turnaround time is no more than 2 weeks. For weddings, you’ll get your full gallery in no more than 6-8 weeks.
Then you are my kind of people!!! I promise you that I will walk you through the entire thing and it’ll be so much easier than you thought! If you’re happy and head over heels for each other, it’ll be anything but awkward I swear!!
You don’t, but I highly recommend it! It is a great way for all of us to get to know each other so we’re basically bffs by the time your wedding day rolls around. Also, it gets you both comfortable in front of the camera so you’re not extra nervous on your wedding day! You are welcome to opt out of this, but the total cost of the package will remain the same.
Nope! Editing is a huge part of what makes my work look like it does! It would be like going to a restaurant and asking for your burger to be raw so you can grill it yourself. It just doesn’t really make sense. If I give you those RAW or unedited photos, you simply aren’t getting the full experience that I give to each and every client.
To book your wedding, I require a $1000 non-refundable retainer when you sign your contract. The remaining is due two weeks before your wedding so you don’t have to worry about anything the day of or on your honeymoon! I take all forms of payment except PayPal.
Usually with rain and high speed winds, we will reschedule. I always keep an eye on the weather when we are about 10 days out. If the weather still looks bad when we are about 3-5 days out, I’ll let you know and we will figure out when your next best date is. If it’s your wedding, we make due with what we can! We can still make magic on your magical day!!!
"Kim was with me every step of the way. It was somewhat stressful for me and I frequently used her as my therapist. All I had to do was email her and she was there with all the answers. She was so reassuring and exactly what I needed when going through the planning process."

"In addition to her flexibility, she was creative, professional and took outstanding pictures of the bridal parties at different locations, and at the wedding ceremony. She also got some photos back to us immediately to use for thank you notes, and the rest of our photos were back to us very quickly."

"You made it super easy getting exactly what we wanted. I usually hate getting photos taken, but I felt very comfortable with you the whole time. You were very easy going. You were able to work with us, and coach us to get the most out of the pictures."

"Kim was so professional and fun to shoot with, she stayed focused and organized and yet was all about getting the real reactions and tiny details which were so important to me as a bride."

"Photo sessions can be so awkward, but Kim makes it feel like you are just hanging out with your pal, who just happens to be capturing all of your naturally precious moments."
